You want to get ahead at work. You want to be promoted and advance in your career. But you feel stuck or like you’re being passed over for an opportunity. Do you want to know the secrets to pursue your vision of career success?
I can help you take specific, concrete steps to create a strategic roadmap that will find the clarity and excitement of your dream career but first let’s talk strategy! A personal career strategy is a way of thinking through your skills and attributes so you can market yourself to the jobs that fit your abilities, not try and adjust yourself to a set of criteria you’re not comfortable with.
Having a rewarding and fulfilling career that truly matches you depends upon pursuing your own vision of professional success (not someone else’s). Otherwise, you’re likely to spend your career days (and years of your life) trying to live up to the expectations of others or mindlessly drifting from one job to the next. But that stops today!
Of course, success itself means different things to different people. For some, it’s a matter of earning more money and climbing the corporate ladder. For others, it’s more about stretching their skills and contributing to society. And still others, it’s about getting to the highest point you can in your career no matter what area it is in!
Make your work life more satisfying and build the accomplishments that you can be proud of.
